These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Deseret Food Store website, live chat, text messaging program, and purchases. By using this website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.

Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to place an order or opt in to our text messaging program. We currently sell and ship within the United States.
Text messaging (SMS) terms
Program description
Deseret Food Store operates a two-way customer care and order support text messaging program. We use texts to answer questions initiated through our website chat and to send order, shipping, return, and auto-ship updates relating to purchases you made. We do not send unsolicited marketing text messages through this program.
How you opt in
Open the Chat button on our website, choose Talk to a person, enter your name, mobile number, and question, then select the SMS consent checkbox. The checkbox is unchecked by default and must be selected before you submit the form. The checkbox states:
I agree to receive text messages from Deseret Food Store at the mobile number I provide so the team can answer my question and follow up about my order. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of purchase. See our Privacy Policy and Terms & Conditions.
You may also opt in by texting our published business number first. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services.
Message frequency and cost
Message frequency varies based on your interaction with us, typically 2 to 6 messages per conversation or order. Message and data rates may apply. Deseret Food Store does not charge for texts, but your carrier’s rates apply.
How to opt out
Reply STOP to any message to cancel. You may also reply STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, or QUIT. We will send one confirmation and stop texting that number. Reply START to opt in again.

Carriers and privacy
Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. We do not share, sell, or provide your mobile phone number or messaging consent data to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. See our Privacy Policy and SMS Program and Opt-In page.
Live chat
Our website chat provides automated answers and access to staff. Chat responses are provided for convenience. Do not submit payment card numbers, Social Security numbers, passwords, or other sensitive information through chat.
Products, pricing, and availability
We work to describe products, serving counts, and shelf life accurately. Images are representative and packaging may change. Prices and availability may change without notice. If a product is listed with incorrect pricing or information, we may cancel the order and refund any amount charged.
Stated shelf life, including 25 years, assumes unopened Mylar packaging stored in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Actual results depend on storage conditions.
Orders and payment
Your order is an offer to buy and is accepted when we confirm and ship it. We may limit quantities or decline an order. You agree that your payment information is accurate and that you are authorized to use the payment method. Applicable tax is added at checkout.
Auto-ship subscriptions
Monthly auto-ship plans renew and bill automatically to the payment method on file. Plans carry a minimum three-month commitment unless the product page states otherwise. After that period, you may cancel before the next billing date by calling or emailing us.
Shipping, returns, and refunds
Shipping costs and free-shipping offers are shown at checkout. Delivery dates are estimates. Contact us promptly about damaged or missing shipments. Returns and refunds are handled under our Refund and Returns Policy.
Accounts and acceptable use
You are responsible for keeping account credentials secure. You may not use the website or messaging channels for unlawful, abusive, or fraudulent activity, interfere with website operation, or access the website through unauthorized automated means.
Intellectual property
Website content, including text, images, logos, and design, belongs to Deseret Food Store or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. It may not be reproduced or redistributed without written permission.
Health and nutrition disclaimer
Our products are food, not medical advice. Review nutrition and allergen information carefully. Consult a qualified professional regarding allergies, dietary restrictions, or medical conditions.
Disclaimer and limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, the website is provided as is without warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Deseret Food Store is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages. Total liability for a product claim will not exceed the amount paid for that product.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by Utah law. Disputes will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Davis County, Utah.
